Chris and Katie Bruno

Chris and Katie have been married since 2001 and have four sons, Luke (born in 2004), Simon (2007), Elliot (2009), and Noah (2016).

They love going to the beach together as a family, hiking, and Friday pizza and movie nights. They like to read (aloud and individually) books of all types. At least some members of the family enjoy things like music from the 1980s and basketball from the 1990s.

They are members of Kailua Baptist Church in Windward Oahu.

Chris is a global partner with Training Leaders International and the site director of the Bethlehem College & Seminary Oahu Extension. Katie is busy with all kinds of good work at home.

Somewhat Random Things the Brunos recommend:

Because Hawaii is so far away from a lot of good theological institutions, and because cost of living is so high here, many desire good training but settle for lesser. There are several good churches on island, but it is difficult for pastors in those churches to give the kind of time needed to train other pastors in depth.
I believe Chris Bruno and his work with Training Leaders International/Bethlehem College and Seminary will help fill those exact voids. His godly character, his extraordinary theological mind, and his deep love for Hawaii and the Pacific are a great combination for the Kingdom in these islands.
